Nestled between the sparkling Pacific and majestic Sierra Madre Mountains, the Mayan Resorts Nuevo Vallarta Golf Club meanders through a tropical forest and winds around shimmering lagoons. The greens are flanked by at least two bunkers on every other whole, with water hazards placed throughout the immaculate fairways. Wind is a factor for players on this flat course. Caddies are mandatory ($15 not incl. in price).

Course is currently under renovations. 18 holes = play same 9 holes twice. Designed by the prestigious architect Jim Lipe, the 7000-yard, 18 hole par 71 golf course is located near the spectacular beaches of Nuevo Vallarta, set between the mountains of the Western Sierra Madre and the Banderas Bay, 15 minutes from Puerto Vallarta’s International Airport. The Mayan Resorts Nuevo Vallarta Golf Club offers interesting advantages as well as challenges for golf lovers; while it´s open fairways make the most difficult part of the game, the seven lakes complicate things for even the highest skilled golf experts.

Holes 13 and 14 will make your round become a special experience. Hole 13 is a dog leg par 5 running along the Ameca river, with a splendid view from the green to the Pacific Ocean. Hole 14 is our signature hole, a 153-yard par 3 with the beach to the left and a beautiful lake guarding the entrance and the right side of the green.
